An Early Morning Raid on the Pumpkin Patch

Only with co-conspirators could we pull something like this off. The mission: get to the pumpkin patch, get the pumpkins, and get back home before things get really crazy. Mike, Becky, Mariah and Nan were essential to our pre-dawn pre-noon raid, but you know, it didn't really get that busy anyway. And weren't we being a little alarmist? Traffic jams are just an extra helping of quality time when you are riding in the Cow Train.

Ockpus! Ockpus!

Ockpus is Charlotte's word for octopus. Here she's consulting with Lucy before relaunching the Ockpus kite on Oceanside beach. Lack of wind makes for well exercised children. Later in the day, Lucy demonstrated to us how easy it is to crash a wedding party by simply making polite inquiries about the flower girl dresses.
